Axsys Technologies manufactures exceptionally reliable, multispeed and segmented angular position sensors, resolvers and synchros, providing a high degree of angular accuracy and extremely high resolution. Resolvers and synchros are available with transmitter, differential or receiver functions. Our resolvers are specifically designed to withstand high-impact (vibration and shock) and environments containing dirt, grease, oil or other contaminants.  They are available either housed or un-housed, in a variety of configurations. The segmented resolver, a patented Axsys Technologies invention, offers significant cost, space, and weight savings over full rotation resolvers in applications that require only a limited angle measurement.

Axsys Technologies pancake resolvers, as shown in our catalog, are an excellent compliment to Axsys direct drive motors in a high performance positioning system.   Axsys also has brushless resolvers available for most pancake resolvers, which eliminate the lead wires from the rotor by adding a rotary transformer adjacent to the resolver.
