When contacting Axsys Motion Control Products about returning a product to our facility please have your part number and serial number available to facilitate the Return to Manufacturer Authorization (RMA) process.
Because many of our motion control products are controlled by the U.S. State Department's international trafficking in arms (ITAR) regulations it is important that you follow the guidelines specified in the ITAR documentation when returning a product to Axsys.

Limited Warranty
Seller warrants to Buyer that the goods sold by Seller will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year following shipment (the "Warranty Period"). If the goods are found to be defective during the Warranty Period, and if Buyer obtains a Return Material Authorization ("RMA") from Seller no later than one month following the expiration of the Warranty Period, Seller shall (at Seller's option) either repair or replace the defective goods, or in the event Seller determines that repair or replacement is commercially impracticable, Seller shall refund the purchase price to Buyer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Seller shall be relieved of any liability with respect to goods that have been processed, altered or misused. Transportation costs for the return of defective goods to the original point of delivery or such other place designated by the Seller shall be paid by Buyer who shall be credited by Seller for such reasonable transportation costs. This warranty is Buyer's sole and exclusive remedy for costs or other damages relating to defective goods, and Seller shall have no liability for incidental, special or consequential damages. This warranty supersedes and is in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, and no agreement or understanding varying or extending this warranty will be binding upon Seller unless in writing and signed by a duly authorized officer of Seller.
