Description:
Axsys Technologies, a $200M public company, with multiple operating divisions located throughout the US, manufactures and sells a broad range of high performance electro-mechanical and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies to the aerospace, defense, electronics capital equipment, graphic arts and medical-imaging markets. Our IR Systems division in Nashua, NH produces precision infrared and visible optical components for use in high-end military and commercial applications.

Basic Function
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on cameras, camera systems, and manual/motorized lens assemblies.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Test, troubleshoot and repair products
Enter labor into manufacturing software
Enter problems found into manufacturing software

Education,Training:
Formal Education or certifications essential to perform job functions. High school diploma, applicable certification and/or Associate's degree.

Experience:

Test/Troubleshooting of precision electro-mechanical assembly.	3 years
Electro-mechanical assembly	5 years
Optical assembly	2 years
Machining experience	2 years
