Description:
Axsys Technologies, a $200M public company, with multiple operating divisions located throughout the US, manufactures and sells a broad range of high performance electro-mechanical and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies to the aerospace, defense, electronics capital equipment, graphic arts and medical-imaging markets.

We presently have the following position for a Project Manager III at our Grass Valley, CA location.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager III, the selected candidate will be responsible for the coordination and completion of engineering projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects.

Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Requires proficient computer skills, the ability to make high-level decisions, and confer with Supervisor. Requires the ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.

Experience:
4 years of successful project management results.
3 years of successful department management experience.
