Axsys Technologies, a $200M public company, with multiple operating divisions located throughout the US, manufactures and sells a broad range of high performance electro-mechanical and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies to the aerospace, defense, electronics capital equipment, graphic arts and medical-imaging markets.
We presently have the following position for a Customer Service Engineer at our Grass Valley, CA location.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Engineer, the selected candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting electro-mechanical camera systems via direct contact with End Users or Resellers, by phone, E-mail, and predominantly returned systems. Candidate is required to interact with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve quality of product. Infrequent Field Repairs may be required.
Qualifications:
Good interpersonal/communication skills. Functioning well as part of a team is required.
Experience:
5 years of electro-mechanical customer service experience including phone diagnostic and repair.
